Four killed in road accidents

A 26-year-old man was killed while two others were injured when the car they travelling in was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle in Medipally police limits.

The accident occurred near Sai Dharam Kanta in Medipally on Monday night. The deceased, K Naveen, died on the spot, his friends Jittu and Balu sustained injuries. Naveen was a MBA student and resident of Ghatkesar.

In another case, Nagula Meera, 34, of Arsh Nagar, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained when the motorcycle he was riding skidded near Aramgarh crossroads on Monday evening. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

In a similar case, G Das, 40, died of injuries which he sustained on August 16 when the bike he was riding skidded near Aziz Nagar. He was undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Monday night. He was a driver and resident of Road No. 3, Banjara Hills, according to Moinabad police.

In a separate case, an unidentified man died on the spot after he was hit and run by an unknown vehicle near Paradise crossroads on Monday night. The deceased was aged about 35 years. The Ramgopalpet police have preserved the body at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem and identification. (INN)
