Four burglars held under PD Act

In the ongoing drive against property offenders under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, the Commissioner of Police has ordered detention of a habitual house burglar Pamula Suresh alias Suri, 20, of Pichakuntla caste of Ootpally under Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy district under Preventive Detention Act.

Though the offender was arrested previously, he was repeatedly committing house burglaries posing threat to law and order. He was arrested and detained by the RGI Airport Police Station as part of preservation of peace and maintaining public order in Cyberabad.

3 cattle thieves too held under PD Act

The Cyberabad Police Commissioner also ordered detention of three cattle theft offenders under P.D. Act. The offenders have been repeatedly lifting cattle from cattle sheds. As their acts have been prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, the Commissioner ordered their detention in order to keep them out of the society for a considerable period by detaining them in the prison under the PD Act, to prevent them from committing such offences.

The principal accused Mohd Saber, 28, of Haryana State was involved in 15 cases of cattle theft under Cyberabad Commissionerate limits in Ranga Reddy and Medak districts. His accomplice Mohd. Juber, 34, of Rajasthan was involved in 15 cases of cattle theft in the limits of Ranga Reddy and Medak districts. Similarly, Mohd Akram, 20, meat merchant of Khan Mohalla village in Zaheerabad Town of Medak district was involved in 15 cases of cattle theft in the limits of Cyberabad Commissionerate, Ranga Reddy and Medak districts.
