Hyderabad: On the occasion of Dasehra festival, foundation stones would be laid in the entire state for the construction of two bedroom flats for the poor.
Mr. KCR will lay the foundation stone at Suryapet in Nalgonda District today. This was disclosed by Mr. Indira Karan Reddy, Minister for Housing. He also told that in the first phase, 60 thousand double bedroom flats would be constructed at the cost of four thousand crore rupees. Foundation stone would be laid by the concerned ministers at the head quarters of all the districts in Telangana State. Mr. Indira Karan Reddy will initiate this scheme by laying the foundation stone for construction at Ellapally in Nirmal Mandal of Adilabad district. He informed that the construction of these flats would be completed in the next eight months. Mr. Reddy further told that this unique housing scheme is not available in any other State of the country. Selection of beneficiaries would be done in a transparent manner.
