The trainees at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy (SMTA) here had the opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade when Nirupama Sanjeev, former number one women’s tennis player in India, visited the facility today.
Appreciating the facilities at the Academy on the outskirts of the city, she took a “Master class of tennis” for the trainees and hoped that several international players would emerge from the institution in the future.
Nirupama had words of advice for parents of the young trainees as well on the occasion, SMTA said.
