If the sources to be believed, Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin has tied the knot for the third time.
According to the Maharashtra Times report, Azhar, who was previously married to Naureen and then actress Sangeeta Bijlani, has now married an American citizen, ‘Shannon Marie’.
The news spread when Azharuddin visited his driver’s family in Shamli to offer condolences on his driver’s death. Maharashtra Times reports that Marie was with him when he visited the driver’s family and was covered in a burqa.
However, after much speculation about the identity of the burqa-clad woman, Azhar introduced her as Shannon Marie, his wife.
It is to be noted that Azhar was found guilty of match-fixing in 2000 and was subsequently banned from cricket for the life time.
