Forensic tests confirm Revanth’s presence in “Cash for Vote” tapes

The forensic test of audio and video tapes related to ‘Cash for Vote’ case has confirmed that they were genuine and not doctored.

According to sources, the analysis of video and audio tapes revealed that the video showing TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy trying to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson was genuine. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) authorities have also confirmed that the tapes were unedited and the lip sync was perfect.

The first video clip is of 86.21 minutes, second of 10.38 minutes and the third clip of 43.09 minutes duration. Similarly, the first audio tape is of 45.12 minutes, second of 44.52 minute and third of 47.18 minutes. These recordings were handed over to the FSL on July 14.

It may be mentioned that the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested Revanth Reddy and five others on the charges of trying to bribe Stephenson to seek his vote in favour of TDP nominee in the recently held MLC elections. (INN)
