Force India’s Sergio Perez escapes injury after Hungarian GP practice crash

London, July 24 (ANI): Sergio Perez of Force India came out unhurt from a dramatic crash in the first practice session ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest.

The Mexican driver suffered a rear suspension failure as his car flipped after hitting the wall and finished upside down on the exit of turn 11, the BBC reported.

Perez confirmed after the crash that he was unhurt, but said that his car was badly damaged. He said that he hoped they could recover and do a bit of second practice.

Meanwhile, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton emerged as the fastest driver, ahead of team mate Nico Rosberg. (ANI)
