Redcentric is expanding the capability of the finance team and is recruiting a Finance Manager to manage the existing team, recruit new staff and develop the finance function so that it can reliably take on more complex finance work currently being carried out by the UK based team, as well as minimising the use of the local accounting firm.
The successful candidate needs proven experience of managing a team, working in cooperation with international colleagues, and the flexibility to expand and adapt the capabilities of the team.
The role is based at the Redcentric office in Hyderabad (Redcentric Solutions Private Limited).
Local Finance Team Management
Manage the existing team, ensuring work is allocated optimally, carried out efficiently and that committed timescales are met.
Finance Team Development
In conjunction with the Group Finance Director, agree a plan to develop the finance function so that more complex tasks can be undertaken. This is expected to include customer billing, query resolution, bespoke billing, requests for supporting data. The India team will work as an integrated part of the UK finance team.
Credit & collections
Manage the credit and collections team, liaising closely with the UK team, in order to achieve effective and timely cash collections from customers, and effective resolution or escalation of any customer billing issues.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills, with the ability to work closely and effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers in the UK.
Strong management and interpersonal skills so that the finance team can be managed day to day, and developed and expanded in future, and integrated closely with the rest of the India office and the wider business.
Determination and drive, with the commitment to take responsibility for issues and manage them to resolution.
Strong financial skills, with a recognised professional qualification and several years of relevant experience.
Bright and energetic, with an analytical and enquiring mind.
