FICCI to organise ‘India – China Investment and Trade Symposium’

New Delhi, Nov 20 : In partnership with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, FICCI is organising ‘India – China Investment and Trade Symposium’ today in New Delhi.

The event will see addresses by the President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Zhejiang, Wu Guiying, amongst others.

Other key speakers scheduled to address the symposium are Sanjay Chadha, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Chen Yanhua, Vice chairman, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Zhejiang Committee and others.

Zhejiang Province contributes to the maximum GDP that is exceeding many of the European countries. The 100+ member strong business delegation will comprise of the sectors like auto parts and components, construction materials and machinery, textiles and garments, service industry, agriculture, fishery and forestry, chemical, energy, infrastructure.

The business meeting would significantly contribute in supporting Prime Minister’s “Make in India” initiative and would promote bilateral investment and trade relations between the two countries. (ANI)
