Fawad Khan expresses about Bollywood’s fashion over the years

New Delhi, July 15: Pakistan actor Fawad Khan, who defines courtesy and gentlemanliness in the industry, was recently spotted walking ramp for Giovani’s Fashion Week collection 2015, in Mumbai. During the event, while addressing the media, he expressed about his take on Bollywood’s fashion statement over the years.

“I believe fashion has evolved with time. I would not want to criticize Bollywood’s fashion in any way because every age has a specific style. Like in 70’s, people used to wear big collared shirts, oversized jackets and men would wear their collars on the top of their jackets which was very Italian. Then came an era of 80’s wherein anything and everything was accepted.”

Further, he expressed that the fashion statement started to get refined after 2000 and the one that people witness now in Bollywood is so versatile that one can pick and choose any kind of fashion from any stage, according to their preference.

However, what remains indigestible for this chivalrous man is the time when men used to wear bell bottoms. For him, bell bottom are so not meant for men.

This ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ fame actor, who was earlier seen opposite Sonam Kapoor in ‘ Khoobsurat’, would soon be seen in Shakun Batra’s ‘ Kapoor and Sons’ along with Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor. (ANI)
