Congress member of legislative council Mr. Mohammed Farooq Husain had demanded that the Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao provide land to establish hostels for Muslim students in Hyderabad and Secunderabad and also sanction Rs. 40 Cr for construction of those buildings. Mr. Farooq Husain said that there were many big hostels for other communities at the outskirt of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Muslims are educationally, economically and socially backward and they are facing difficulty in studying while residing in cities. Hence he appealed to Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao to provide land for Muslim students’ hostel and sanction Rs. 20 Cr for construction and infrastructure of each hostel.
