Families of Islamic state hostages in Libya go on Hunger strike.

New Delhi,The families of two professors prof. Balram Kishan and Prof Gopikrishna meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj to seek their help to get them released from Libya. Their meeting yielded no result.
The hostages’ wives said that they had got no information about the status of the two professors either from the ministry or the Sirte University in Libya. “Nobody from the external affairs ministry or embassy is responding to our calls,” said Ms Sridevi, wife of Prof. Balram.
As a result their families have decided to go on a hunger strike in New Delhi.
