‘Famed’ Adele afraid of ‘Amy’-ing high

London, Nov 29 : Though Adele is ‘Setting Fire to the Rain’ with the release of her latest track ‘Hello’, somewhere she’s afraid that fame might pull her into a tragic mess like Amy Winehouse.

The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ hit-maker said in an interview that she’s really frightened of being famous especially after watching the late pop singer getting deteriorate in the limelight and struggling with drink and drugs before dying of alcohol poisoning in 2001, the Daily Star reported.

The 27-year-old singer added that she was terribly sad about the death of the ‘Valerie’ singer, who inspired her Adele to play guitar on her blog.

Adele has made UK chart history with her comeback songs EP, 25, reaching an astonishing 800,307 album sales and ‘ Hello’, became the most downloaded track in history – with four million plays on Spotify in one day. (ANI)
