Panchayat Raj Minister KT Rama Rao today directed the officials concerned to take up on a war footing the irrigation projects in Siricilla in Karimnagar district.
At a review meeting here with irrigation officials and district collector Nitu Prasad, KTR asked the former to complete Mid Manair project as per schedule. On Pranahitha Chevella project, the Panchayat Raj minister said that survey of 9th phase of works should be taken up avoiding delay. He stressed the need for proper rehabilitation measures to extending financial help in October towards compensation to the victims of Mid Manair project. Necessary rescue and rehabilitation measures besides paying suitable compensation to the victims of Mid Maner project should be completed as per time.
KTR asked the officials to submit a report in 10 days after conducting the survey and biweekly review of pending projects. (NSS)
