Ex-Greek finance minister says reforms ‘going to fail’

London, July 18 (ANI): As the formal talks on a huge bailout are set to begin, former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has said that the country’s economic reforms are ‘going to fail’.

According to BBC, Varoufakis said that Greece was subject to a programme that will ‘go down in history as the greatest disaster of macroeconomic management ever’.

German Parliament had yesterday approved the opening of discussions.

“This programme is going to fail whoever undertakes its implementation,” said Varoufakis. (ANI)
