Every town will be Hyderabad if Centre accords special status to AP: Botcha

YSRCP senior leader Botsa Sathyanarayana has said every town in Andhra Pradesh will be similar to Hyderabad city if the Centre accorded special status to Andhra Pradesh State.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Botsa said the youth will get jobs and industries will sustain only when the State gets special status. He expressed his fears that the special package funds will go into pockets of big bosses in case the Centre announced special package instead of giving special status to the State. He said the Centre was not giving special status to the State just because of inefficient Andhra Pradesh government.

He also alleged that the State government tried seriously to disturb the bandh call given by YSCRP on Saturday. He made it clear that the YSRCP will continue its fight till the Centre announces special status to Andhra Pradesh. He questioned the TDP leaders, who assured on special status during the elections, as to why they assured on it then.

Responding to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s statement that they will wait for some time for the special status to the Andhra Pradesh State, he demanded that Pawan Kalyan tell how many days one has to wait for it. (NSS)
