Hyderabad: Minorities Development Forum and Siasat Urdu Daily organized 52nd Du-ba-Du ( Face – to – Face) Matrimonial Alliance Program at Royal Regency Garden, Asif Nagar Road yesterday. Mr. Amer Ali told that in order to avoid difficulties, it is essential for us to become true Muslims. He was addressing a gathering at Royal Regency Garden yesterday organized by Minorities Development Forum and Siasat Urdu Daily.

In his address, Mufti Mahboob Shareef Nizami told that taking dowry is illegal in Islam but it has become part of Muslim society for which we should to answerable to Allah (SWT). Quoting the wedding ceremony of Hazrath Bibi Fatima, he said that no dowry was given to Hazrath Ali but Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) gave him ordinary articles of daily use. This was so because Hazrath Ali was under the patronage of the Prophet (PBUH). He further said that Islam has instructed the Muslims to make marriages simpler but we have made them more difficult. The rich people have created an imbalance in the society by celebrating marriages in a grand manner in order to maintain their dignity.

He paid a tribute to the services of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan and said that it is the need of hour. He proposed that a counseling session should be arranged between the boy and girl before finalizing matrimonial alliance in order to avoid the unfortunate instances of divorce later.
