The entire Muslim society alert and active for getting rights and justice

Hyderabad: A meeting of the executive committee of All India Muslim Front was held under the chairmanship of its president, Mr. Mohammed Osman Shaheed and the campaign for 12% reservation launched by Siasat Urdu Daily and the attitude of the Govt. was discussed. A resolution was unanimously passed in which the campaign launched by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan for 12% reservations for Muslims was supported. In the resolution it was mentioned that for the eradication of economic and educational backwardness of the Muslims, reservations are essential in every field. In the Constitution of India, it was said that India is a welfare State. It is therefore the constitutional responsibility of State Govt. to take positive steps for the welfare of every citizen. The budget of Rs. 23 thousand crore has been provided for SCs, STs under the sub-plan. Under this scheme two-bedroom flats are being provided free. In addition to it, there are plans to implement various welfare schemes. In such a situation if no concrete steps are taken for the welfare of Minorities, this lapse of few moments would force us to repent for centuries.

In the resolution a strong demand was made to Mr. KCR to fulfill his election promise of providing 12% reservation to Muslims and to achieve this objective, take necessary legal and constitutional steps.

The efforts of Mr. Zahid Ali and Mr. Amer Ali Khan were applauded in the meeting.
A delegation led by Mr. Sadath Ghowri of Islah-e-Millath Committee of Shadnagar met Mr. B. Chandra Rao, Tahsildar of Farukh Nagar Mandal and submitted a memorandum to him for the implementation of 12% reservation for Muslims by getting the proper recommendation from BCs Commission.

Mr. Syed Ahmed Ali, Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Syed Ghulam Nabi at Nyalamadugu Mandal, Edpalli met the Mandal Development Officer, Mr. Venugopal and submitted a memorandum to him.
