Elliott tips Pakistan Super League to be a `big success`

Karachi, Sept. 23 : New Zealand all-rounder Grant Elliott has tipped the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Super League to be a ‘ big success’ owing to the Twenty20’s immense popularity amongst the subcontinent audience.

Elliott, who gave green signal for the tournament scheduled for February 4-24 in the United Arab Emirates, said that the league is showing signs of success, PakPassion reported.

The 36-year-old, who played an instrumental role in New Zealand’s semi-final win over South Africa during the World Cup, also said that the tournament would provide him enough experience with the lead up to next year’s T20 World Cup in India.

Elliott admitted that playing in tournaments like PSL would help a player to built his skills and come out as a better player.

The glittering tournament will feature international superstars like Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga, Luke Wright and Tim Bresnan. (ANI)
