Hyderabad: Mufti Azeemuddin of Jamia Nizamia has clarified through a fatwa (Religious Decree) that for the persons who possess the assets worth about Rs. 2.5 lakh or 90 grams of Gold or 612 gram of Silver, it is obligatory to offer Qurbani (Sacrifice) of the animals. Every person can offer one goat/sheep or seven persons can join in sacrificing a big animal.
If there are more than one person earning in the family and posses the above mentioned quantum of assets, they should also perform Qurbani on their behalf.
