A 79-year-old woman died on the spot after she was hit by a train at Kachiguda Railway Station.
According to Kachiguda Railway Police, the victim, B. Lakshmi Bai, was hit by a MMTS train while she was crossing the tracks from Platform No. 1 to P.F. No. 2 on Monday night. She was a native of Motkupalli of Anantapur district. She had come to city to meet some relatives and met with the accident before boarding a train to return home. (INN)
