Egypt’s Sisi condemns Paris attacks

Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi today assured solidarity with France as he condemned the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 39 people and held others as hostages.

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi asked the Egyptian Ambassador in France to deliver the condolences to the French government and people and to confirm Egypt’s solidarity with France, a Presidency statement said.

It also added that Egypt supports the efforts of international community in fighting terrorism that kills innocent people without differentiation across the world and doesn’t know any limits or religions.

Such terrorist attacks will not weaken the will of the peaceful countries or people, but will make them insist on fighting terrorism, the statement added.

At least 39 people were killed in a series of simultaneous gun attacks across Paris, as well as explosions outside the national stadium yesterday night.
