EC deleted four lakh votes of Seemandhra people: TPCC chief

TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that the Election Commission removed four lakh Seemandhra voters’ from the voters list in Greater Hyderabad limits.

Speaking to the media after lodging a complaint with the Central Election Commission on removal of voters under GHMC limits here on Monday, Uttam said the TRS government was conspiring to remove another 25 lakh voters from the list. He alleged that GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar was working in favor of the ruling party.

Making it clear that the Congress has no objection in removing bogus votes, Uttam alleged that the officials were removing votes on pretext of door lock, house shift as reasons. He demanded that the Election Commission restore the voters’ names in the list. He also demanded that the Election Commission appoint observers from other States rather than Telangana state.
