New Delhi: Responding to the Baba Ramdev’s demand to completely ban consumption of beef, Defense Minister, Manohar Parrikar said that eating beef is a personal choice and governments cannot put restrictions.
Manohar Parrikar who belongs to Goa added that if vegetarians demands entire world become vegetarian then it will lead to other problems like rise in the prices of vegetables and then it will eventually lead to lack of food resources.
Responding to the question about RSS, Minister said that RSS has nothing to do with this issue and sensitive issues should be discussed. He added that in democracy, violence of any nature by anyone is unacceptable.
