Finance Minister Eatala Rajender laid the foundation stone for the construction of 2BHK houses for weaker sections in Huzurabad of Karimnagar district on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Eatala said that double-bedroom houses were being constructed for the poor people in Ganesh Nagar of Huzurabad on the lines of IDH Colony in Hyderabad. He said that the colony would have all facilities like roads, drainage and other facilities.
Eatala said that the TRS Government was committed towards the welfare of poor people. He said unlike past, when houses for weaker sections used to be constructed outside the city without any facilities, the TRS Government was constructing the houses within the city by providing all facilities. He said steps have been taken to prevent irregularities in the implementation of the scheme. (INN)
