Dy CM launches 2BKH housing scheme in Mangad Basti

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali laid foundation stone for the construction of 2BHK houses at Mangad Basthi in Nampally Assembly constituency on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM praised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for launching the innovative programme for the poor and needy. He said that around 10,000 houses would be constructed this year; 25,000 next year and 50,000 in the coming years for which detailed proposals and planning is being made by the Government of Telangana. He said the scheme has been already implemented at IDH Colony.

Home Minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy, Nampally MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj, MLC M.S. Prabhakar Rao GHMC Commissioner & Special Officer Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

Later, the Deputy CM, along with the Home Minister, Gosha Mahal MLA T. Raja Singh Lodh and MLC Syed Altaf Hyder Razvi inaugurated the 10ML capacity reservoir at Allabanda in Goshamahal constituency. (INN)
