Dy CM distributes assets among Women SHGs

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali claimed that the Telangana Government was the only one in the country which launched several welfare schemes for poor and needy within a span of just 18 months.

Addressing the gathering at the asset distribution to Self Help Groups of women in Hyderabad District held at People’s Plaza here today, the Deputy CM said that the State Government has initiated construction of 2BHK houses, ensured uninterrupted power supply, distributed old age pension of Rs.1000/- and helping women in arranging loans through bank linkage to enable them to earn their livelihood. and encouraging them to repay the loans on priority to get further loans for their needs while

Union Labour Minister Bandru Dattatreya said that the State and Central Governments were taking due care in procuring loans and stated that the Central Government was also planning to help the women through Mudra Bank Scheme, an initiative taken by Prime Minister Narender Modi. He also assured that the Centre would provide sufficient funds for the 2BHK housing scheme.

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Panchayat Raj Minister K.
