DSC soon to recruit 20,000 Teachers: CM–Chance to 1998, 2000 DSC candidates

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today declared that the state government will soon conduct District Selection Committee (DSC) for recruitment of teachers in the state. 15,000 to 20,000 posts of teachers will be filled up soon through a notification expected in two weeks.

At a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, he said that the candidates who attended 1998 and 2000 DSCs will also be allowed to attend the fresh DSC to be conducted soon. The TRS Government is committed to offer them a chance and will not deprive them of an opportunity to compete, he said. The candidates of 1998 and 2000 DSCs will get a chance to write examinations to get the teacher jobs KCR declared. The chief minister asserted that the government will soon conduct the examinations for offering the jobs. Related notification will be issued in two weeks or so.

Contract Staff To be Regulrised

KCR also stated that the contract staff will be regularized within two months. Kamalanathan Committee has completed its task of official bifurcation. Almost 95 per cent of the bifurcation was over and it needs another one week to complete the rest of the process, the chief minister said. He also said that women of self help groups will soon hear good news while the TRS activists will get due recognition.(NSS)
