Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has revealed that District Selection Commission (DSC) will be conducted next year.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Srihari, who is also Education Minister, said the education system collapsed in united Andhra Pradesh government and consequently conducting DSC has been delayed. Making it clear that the government will follow the High Court’s directions in letter and spirit, Srihari said the government would take up appointment of educational volunteers.

Reiterating that no school in the State will be closed down in the State and injustice would not be done to the students, the Education Minister appealed to the parents not to worry about the future of their children. He also disclosed that Vidya volunteers would be appointed in the vacant posts on ad hoc basis. Lashing out at the Seemandhra media for resorting to a vilification campaign against the Telangana government, he said the government was committed to ensure quality education to students in the State.
