Hyderabad, July 10 (INN): A 28-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment for more dowry.
According to Moinabad police, the deceased, V Somalatha, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Kanamamidi on Thursday night. She was allegedly being harassed by her husband Srinu and his relatives for additional dowry. A case under Sections 498A and 306 have been registered against Srinu and his relatives for dowry harassment and abetment for suicide. (INN)
