A 26-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to harassment for additional dowry.
The victim. P. Anusha, took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Miyapur on Thursday night. According to Miyapur police, Anusha was married to Yashwanth Kumar, a software engineer, in May 2014. However, he was allegedly harassing Anusha for additional dowry for the last few months. Unable to bear the harassment, she committed suicide. A case under Section 304 B has been registered against Kumar and further investigations are on. (INN)
