New Delhi: Doordarshan’s regional services, which are presently running on INSAT-3A, will be shifted to INSAT-4B from December 12.
Due to this shift, Doordarshan regional services will remain off air from midnight to 5am on December 10.
The step is being taken in view of End of Life (EOL) of INSAT-3A, as declared by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
For this purpose, four new transponders on INSAT-4B have been allotted by the ISRO. (ANI)
