A distressed farmer climbed a top the cut out of A P chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and threatened to commit suicide here today.
Govindarajulu, a farmer belonging to Addakallu in Kurnool district came here and climbed on the flexi adorned with a 100 feet height cut out of the chief minister.
In a note left behind before climbing the cut-out, he threatened to commit suicide stating that he is suffering with cancer, and also facing financial problems due to crop failure, and wanted that his family may be helped after his death.
However, police came on the scene and persuaded him to get down, and saved his life. It is said that he is a fan of film star Pawan Kalyan. (NSS)
