Disgruntled Congress workers vandalise party office in Madhubani

Madhubani (Bihar), Sept. 23 : Disgruntled Congress Party workers vandalised the party office over ticket distribution ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections here on Wednesday.

The protestors also broke furniture and set tables and chairs on fire.

Ironically, they kept raising slogans of ‘Rahul-Sonia Zindabad’ and ‘Congress Zindabad’ while ransacking the office.

Elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between October 12 and November 5.

The counting of votes will take place on November 8.

The term of the current Bihar State Assembly expires on November 29. (ANI)
