Disciplinary action to be taken against 9 Hajj volunteers

After reviewing various complaints against Hajj volunteers (Khadimul Hujjaj) who were appointed to guide and serve the Hajj pilgrims, Hajj committee has decided to take action against them. 3 of them belong to Telangana Hajj Committee. It must be noted that 18 Khadimul Hujjaj were sent this year of which 11 belonged to Telangana while 7 belonged to Andhra Pradesh. 3 workers of Hajj Committee were sent as Khadimul Hujjaj. Pilgrims complained about their negligence during their stay in Makkah and Madina. The said Hajj volunteers failed to fulfill their duties on the occasion of crane crash incident in Makkah and Mina stampede.

Telangana Hajj Committee has decided to take disciplinary action against 6 Khadimul Hujjaj belonging to other departments and 3 workers of Hajj Committee. They have been issued show cause notices. Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor told that report has been sent regarding 6 Khadimul Hujjaj belonging to various departments, to their respective departments and they are blacklisted permanently. Action will be taken against the workers of Hajj Committee after receiving their reply to the notice.
