New Delhi:Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to slash diesel and petrol prices by Rs. 1.17 and Rs. 1.27 per litre respectively from midnight of 14th August / 15th August, 2015.
Prices of Petrol and Diesel were last revised on August 1, 2015. Since last price change, there has been a decrease in international prices of both Petrol & Diesel.
INR-USD exchange rate has, however, depreciated during this period. Combined impact of both these factors warrants a downward revision in prices, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price decrease.
