Development possible thru’ law & order: Ministers

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy and Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao today said security in the twin cities has been beefed up to protect law and order.

Participating in foundation stone laying function at Kukatpally here, the ministers said development was possible if there was law and order in the State. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned a police station for Kukatpally immediately when the officials sought for it, they said. The TRS government has been taking steps to modernize police stations to enable police personnel to serve people better and maintain law and order, they said.

The State government was focusing on maintenance of law and order for peace and tranquility in the twin cities and all districts. Security has been beefed up in the city enabling the people to have freedom, they said. They alleged that the Opposition parties were making baseless allegations against the State government. The KCR Government was committed to welfare of farmers and planning to waive the entire crop loans they said.

The ministers said Chief Minister KCR was favouring housing facility for the poor to be launched on Dasara festival day, they said. Every Assembly segment in 10 districts will get poor houses and the eligible will get their pick, they said. They also said that Water Grid – the flagship program was first of its kind in the country and will provide safe drinking waters to the people at their houses as per schedule. “Lakes restoration program was also yielding good results of filling water bodies and tanks to supply waters to crops in the rural areas, they said.
