Delhiites wake up to pleasant morning

New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning with the minimum temperature settling at 10.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal.

“The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 10.6 degrees Celsius and the humidity was 83 per cent,” a MeT official said.

The visibility was recorded at 1000 metres.

The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky afternoon onwards with possibility of shallow fog tomorrow morning.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 24 and 11 degrees Celsius,” the official added.

Delhi had yesterday recorded its highest minimum and maximum temperatures for this time of the season in at least five years as the mercury touched 12.2 degrees Celsius.

Today, the minimum temperature had risen five notches above the normal while the maximum temperature at 24.5 degrees was up by four notches from the average.
