Panchayat Raj & IT Minister KT Rama Rao declared Vemulawada as 100% Open Defecation Free Constituency. Vemulawada is the 3rd constituency in Telangana to achieve this rare distinction after Sircilla and Siddipet. Vemulawada MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh also participated in the event.
