“We are extremely happy that the Prime Minister has agreed to meet us. We have been requesting the PMO to seriously look into the matter of declassification of files on Subhash Bose. It’s obvious that the Prime Minister will now take some action hopefully,” Ardhendu Bose told ANI.

“There are many files lying in Russia…England, may be in United States, Japan and China, which are of great significance. This will encourage the Indian Government to request the governments of these nations to declassify the files on Bose,” he added.

Prime Minister Modi today said he was glad that the family members of Subhash Chandra Bose would meet him at his official 7, Race Course Road (RCR) residence here in October.
