Centre for Deccan Studies and Aiwan-e-Fankar under the supervision of Agha Khan Trust for Culture are organising Deccani mock mushaira ‘Deccan Sa Nahi Thar Sansar Main’ directed by Dr. Javeed Kamal on December 10, at 6 pm, at Salarjung Museum.
Artists Shaikh Iqbal, Lateefuddin Lateef, Mahboob Khan Asghar, Waheed Pasha Quadri, Dr. Moin Amar Bamboo, Nematullah Baig, Yousufuddin Yousuf, Atyab Aijaz, Mirza Hamed Baig, Mohammed Zahed, Syed Arif and Nayyar Azam will play the role of Deccani poets.
Dr. Humaira Sayeed will organise the mushaira. Dr. Javeed Kamal will deliver background commentary. Mushaira will be followed by Ghazal programme.
