DDCA row: Gautam Gambhir meets Kejriwal

New Delhi: Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday to discuss about the alleged financial irregularities in the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA).

On a complaint filed by former cricketer Bishen Singh Bedi and other cricketers, Delhi government has also ordered a probe into the issue.

The two-member committee of Urban Development secretary and sports secretary was constituted and asked to submit their report on financial irregularities in DDCA within two days.

The matter of the financial irregularities in DDCA was raised by former cricketer and BJP MP Kirti Azad.

The Parliament sent the matter to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), which forwarded the issue to the sports ministry, which has now trickled down to the Delhi government for further investigation. (ANI)
