Dattatreya unhappy at sluggish Vambay scheme

Continuing his efforts to make Hyderabad, a model city in the country, Union Minister for state Labour and Employment (I/C) Bandaru Dattatreya held a review meeting with GHMC, Hyderabad and Rangareddy district officials here on Monday.

Minister expressed displeasure on the incomplete works regard to Vambay Housing scheme in Rangareddy district, he also instructed to provide toilets in the government schools with running water facility. Officials explained over the lack of funds for this task.

He asked the officials to complete the process of allocating houses under old housing schemes. By speaking the concerned departments in the central government, I will bring more fund to the city for the benefit of the poor, he said.

Minister enquired over the delay in the process of applications of the poor people. He asked the Joint Collector of Rangareddy – Ms. Amrapali to get the complete details on the housing scenario. Minister also enquired about the vacant posts of teachers in some schools. Hyderabad Collector Rahul Bojja said that soon the post will be filled. (NSS)
