Dattatraya assures Centre’s cooperation in anti-terror activities

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Sunday said that the Central Government would extend complete cooperation with Telangana Government in fighting terrorism.

Speaking to media persons here, Dattatraya said that the government would not comprise on the matters of national security and its fight against terrorism. He said it was essential for the State Government to strengthen its counter-terrorism machinery in order to turn Hyderabad into a global city. He advised all leaders to rise above politics to fight against terrorism.

Dattatraya advised the State Government to constitute special cells to identify and trace terror modules.

The Union Minister strongly defended the visit of Prime Minister Narender Modi to Pakistan. He said except Congress party, all other sections of the society have welcomed the visit. (INN)
