Dargah-e-Ajmer Sharif vacated after hoax bomb call

Ajmer: A hoax call was made threatening of a bomb at the famous Ajmer Dargah on Monday morning causing a security scare.

Police immediately reached the area after the call and the premises was vacated. The bomb search by the police continued for over two hours, according to reports.

More than one lakh pilgrims were present inside the premises of the dargah when the call was made, IBN reported.

Talking about the incident, SP Ajmer Vikas Kumar said, “The police recovered an unattended bag but no explosives were found in it.”We got a hoax call about an unidentified object. We have conducted searches in the entire premises and have found nothing unusual.” The situation at the dargah is reported to be normal now.
