Shimla: Noman, a truck driver was beaten to death for allegedly smuggling cow. After Dadri incident in which 52-year-old Muslim resident of Basara, Mohammed Akhlaq was lynched, another dadri like incident took place in Shimla, HP where a truck driver was lynched for allegedly smuggling cow.
Police received a tip-off that a truck carrying smuggled cows was in Sarahan. When they reached the tip-off location, they found Noman was critically injured. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared dead on arrival. The body of Noman has been sent for postmortem.
Police suspects right-wing involvement in the lynching.
