Cross removal row: China detains seven Christians

London, Aug 5 : The Chinese Government has detained seven Christians accused of embezzlement and disrupting social order amid Church cross removal row.

According to the BBC, Pastor Bao Guohua, his wife and five church employees were detained in Jinhua, in eastern Zhejiang province.

However, the Church’s lawyer Chen Jiangang said that he believed they were being punished for protesting against the removal of their Church cross.
