Sub-inspector’s illicit relations, wife’s unique protest

(Siasat News): In a bizarre case the wife of a sub-inspector along with the social activists organized a protest against her husband for allegedly having illicit relations with another woman and harassing her for more dowry.

As per the details, the sub-inspector N Karuna Kumar, attached to Afzalgunj police station got married with Vijay Rani in 2011. At the time of the marriage, the parents of the bride had given him Rs. 15 lakh cash, gold jewelleries worth Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 2 lakh as fixed deposit.

The couple had a girl later. However, in 2013, Karuna developed illicit relations with Anusha, a nurse in a private hospital that created differences between husband and wife. In 2014, his wife had lodged a complaint in Gandhi Nagar police station that was resulted in inspector’s suspension.

After some time, he was reinstated and attached to Afzalgunj police station. However, Karuna did not give up the illicit relations with Anusha. His wife once again lodged a complaint in Santosh Nagar police station.

Karuna Kumar has been living with Anusha at D D colony in Amberpet since last one year. When his wife came to know about it, she along with social activists and Mahila Mandal representatives attacked Anusha’s house and staged a protest against the illicit relations. This incident has sent shock waves in the locality.

Amberpet police has registered a case.

Rowdy sheeter brutally killed

(Siasat News): A rowdy sheeter was brutally murdered at Habeebnagar in Agapura. The killers later surrendered before the police.

It is said that Vikram Paul, 30, was the rowdy sheeter of Kulsumpura police station and was an accused of the attempted murder on one Narsing Rao in 2013.

Yesterday, when he was returning from Nampally Criminal Court and was on his way to home situated in Ziaguda, three unidentified assailants on motorbike attacked him with lethal weapons resulting in his instant death.

In the meantime, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, inspector Habeebnagar police station reached the spot of the crime and called the clues team and collected vital evidence.

Three assailants had surrendered before the inspector. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.

Principal’s reprimand, student ends life

(Siasat News): A student, who had come to the school without his regular uniform and was reprimanded by the principal, took the extreme step of ending his life.

This incident occurred at Keshaiguda in Cyerabad where Venkatesh, 14, committed suicide. The deceased was the student of class IX at Krishnaveni School.

However, against the norms, he had come to the school in his regular clothes. When principal was informed about the violation, he reprimanded Venkatesh in presence of all the students that Venkatesh could not take in his stride and treated it as his insult.

Police is further investigating.
