Man commits suicide over doctor’s harassment

(Siasat News): A man who was a technician but was the victim of his own colleague’s harassment and the delay in disbursement of salary, committed suicide.

This incident occurred in Meerpet police station limits where Mallesh, 32, took the extreme step. He specified the people responsible for his suicide in his suicide note.

He had joined this duty recently. However, the deceased used to work in another hospital previously and after leaving the job from there, he was made to run from pillar to post to get his outstanding salary which was kept on hold.

Moreover, he was harassed by his former colleagues. A dejected Mallesh took the extreme step of ending his life. Police Meerpet has registered a case and further investigations are underway.

Passenger held for travelling on fake visa

(Siasat News): The immigration staff at RGI airport arrested a passenger for travelling on a fake visa and handed him over to Shamshabad RGI police.

As per the details, the accused Shaukat Ali, 28, native of Karnataka was about to board the Air India flight for Dubai. During the immigration check, the officials found two visas bearing the same number from his possession.

When he was interrogated about the same, he could not give any satisfactory reply. Sub-inspector Mohd. Nasir had registered a case against the accused and handed him over to judicial custody.

Exam’s phobia led to suicide

(Siasat News): An engineering girl student, who was apprehensive that she would be failed in her exams, took the extreme step of ending her life.

This incident occurred at Tukaramgate in Secunderabad. Police said that the deceased Shivani, 20, was the daughter of one Krishna, resident of Addagatta. She had appeared in her exams on October 21 and was under mental pressure ever since.

Last night she took the extreme step of ending her life. Police said that she was under mental pressure and she had the phobia that she would be failed.

A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.

Another dowry death

(Siasat News): A woman, who was being harassed for more dowry, took the extreme step of ending her life in the old city.

It is said that the deceased Vaidya, 28, had poured kerosene on her body on October 27 and set herself ablaze and died last night during the treatment. She was the wife of one Ravi of Uppuguda.

The duo was labourer and used to work in Bandlaguda. However, Ravi used to harass her to bring more dowry. When the harassment became intolerable for Vaidya, she ended her life.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
