Notorious thief re-arrested

(Siasat News): Jagatgiri police has arrested a notorious thief just after one month when he was released from the jail and started his criminal activities.

Inspector Jagatgirigutta Mr. Kishalkar said that Ramulu, 45, was re-arrested. Though he was released from the jail recently but in short span of time, he committed theft at five places.

Police seized 9 tolas gold and silver ornaments valued at Rs. 2 lakh. The notorious thief had totally committed 21 crimes in Hyderabad, Cyberabad limits and Karimnagar and other districts.

He was handed over to judicial custody.

Passenger held at airport with gold

(Siasat News): The custom officials arrested a passenger at RGI airport with 2 kg gold. The said passenger had arrived from a Qatar airlines flight.

When the passenger was scanned for custom check up, the officials found gold coins in his shoes weighing 2 kg. The passenger is the native of Punjab.

Gold coins are seized and a case has been registered against the passenger. Further investigations are on.

Conman arrested

(Siasat News): A notorious conman, who used to relieve ladies of their gold chains and other ornaments by taking them to deserted places in the name of getting them loan, was arrested.

The accused Puli Babu Rao, resident of Rahmathnagar, Yusufguda, used to target aged women. By winning their confidence, he used to ride them on his motorbike and taking them to isolated places and looted them.

He used to tell them that their presence is required to complete the formalities for the loan.

Police said that Babu Rao has been committing this crime since 1995 and was involved in criminal activities in Bowenpally, Chilkalguda, Kachiguda, Hayathnagar and Gandhi Nagar police stations limit in 2014 and 2015.

Police also seized 11 tolas gold ornaments from the conman valued at Rs. 4 lakh.

Financial dispute led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man committed suicide at Yacharam. Police said that the deceased Laxman, 40, was the resident of Yacharam.

However, he had some financial disputes with his relatives and over this there was heated arguments exchanged between him and his other relatives.

A dejected Laxman, on August 15, consumed pesticide and ended his life. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
